I proudly introduce to you, THE TEDDY ROOSEVELTS BREED. AKA LIL' RATTIES. Let me tell yall why they are called the best kept secret. If u don't like the looks of these, you'll fall in love with them if you had one. They are awesome! I'm a diehard Beagle fan but I love these lil Ratties. I raised our foundation breed stock, I bred them, I watched them as mamas. I watch these little pups from newborn to now and they get A+ across the board for everything. I can't find one fault in these little dogs. I see why the people who have them love them.

How I would explain this breed is they are super sweet, super clean little dogs, perfect little house pets, very low maintenance, low to no shedding, non-aggressive, ours are low drive laid back yet so happy their whole-body wags and their lil bob tails never stop wagging, gentle & lots of play. Happy happy happy little bitty dogs. "Our" biggest ones mature at only 10lbs and 9 inches. Love Love Love kids. 
What I love the most about them is they stay so clean; they hardly ever need a bath if they get dirty you can clean them up easily with a soapy towel even and they never smell. They super hardy & healthy lil dogs. Low to no health issues. I mean these are extremely LOW LOW maintenance, low to no grooming, low to no medical cost, low food cost. They are your dog on a budget. 
They are so lifestyle versatile; they are perfect for the elderly family home or homes with 10 kids. They can handle lots of kids, for this breed the more kids the merrier. They like it all. They love the car rides, yet they are happy to stay home but they are, what I call, some Little DO Do's. They love to DO everything; they want to be involved in all you do. They're some little doers. They love to go for car rides, they love cuddling, they really love toys, they really love their bedding, they love to wear clothes imagine that. They are everything you expect out of a house dog, easy to potty train... I mean they get a A+ at it all. They're the ultimate small house pet. They would love being carried in a purse or backpack. They are happy doing whatever, you name it! They are the best kept secret!

Another thing I'd like to add is we traveled very far to get our dogs. The lady we got ours from had NOT just started breeding them, SHE BREED THEM FOR 30 YEARS. As long as we breed the beagles. Our whole life. She had it down to a science. She breed only her healthiest dogs, her low drive dogs, her small dogs. So, she weeded out all health conditions, all the high drive & all the big dogs in background. So, we were blessed to get such fine breeding stock. 
These dogs were not even recognized by AKC until now & SHE HAS THE 1RST AKC TEDDY ROOSEVELTS FOUNDATIOAL STOCK RECONIZED BY THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB. So, like for instinct, one time I had a Cadillac that was a stick shift: standard transmission. Cadillac's were always automatic transmission. Cadillac said, their cars were made for older people with money. So, they only made 6 standard transmission cars in the world & I had serial #1. (True story) well these lil ratites is serial #1! And We have some of the first AKC registered foundational sock dogs in the world! God always blesses us with the best dogs.
Of course, God always gives us with the best in the world. It's an anointing that been on Jeff since a lil boy.  
One day I'll tell his story about that anointing from then to now.

The difference in our Ratties is... 
1-There is lots of Rat Terrier breeders out there, but they don't compare to what we have.

Other people's ratites are not recognized by AKC nor do they have AKC registration papers on their pups.  
2- They're lots of big ratites, tall leggy that is hyper hyper hyper & hyper ones are hardheaded & bark all the time.

3- Some are huge, they call them the Deckers. They are far from the little, small 9 inch, 10lbs and under, low drive nice little, small house pets like what we have.
